You should start obtaining conveyancing quotes from solicitors ASAP. After you have chosen your lawyer and once your offer is accepted you can instruct them to work for you and pass their details on the the EA. As you are getting a mortgage with Leek BS , ask your prospective lawyers check they are on the Leek BS conveyancing panel otherwise they can't do the mortgage legal work.

Mortgage companies tend not to not issue an offer until they have details of a lawyer on their panel. It can take a few weeks for Leek BS to deal with your lawyers application to be on the Leek BS conveyancing panel. There's no guarantee that your solicitors will be accepted.
