This question may be naive but I am new to the house moving as a first time purchaser of a garden flat in Kington.Do I receive the keys to the premises on the completion date from my solicitor? If so, I will use a High Street conveyancing solicitor in Kington?
On the day of completion you do not need to attend the conveyancers office in Kington. Your solicitors will transfer the completion advance to the vendor’s lawyers, and once they have received this, you will be invited to collect the keys from the property Agents and move into your new home. This tends to happen between 1 and 3pm.
